3 killed, 24 injured in road mishap in #Kanpur

Kanpur, Aug 27 (PTI) Three people, including two women, were killed and around 24 have been injured when a private bus they were travelling in collided with a tractor and truck near Sikandara in neighbouring Kanpur Dehat district today.

Circle Officer, Sikandara police station, DSP Rajaram Yadav said the bus first collided with tractor, then jumped the divider and rammed into a truck on the roadside this morning at about six km away from Sikandara.

The Lucknow-bound luxary bus was coming from Delhi.

Two women in their fifties and a 50-year-old man died on the spot, Yadav said, adding they are yet to identified and with the help of their mobile phones their family members have been informed in Delhi.

About two dozen people have been admitted to district hospitals in Auraiya and Kanpur Dehat, where condition of them was serious, the Circle Officer added.
