47,000 challans issued in 9 months

Traffic police are observing November as the traffic safety month. Cops said they would conduct awareness rallies in the city and spread awareness of traffic rules among commuters.

On Saturday, a rally with 30 PCR vans, 25 leopard motorbikes, 40 other patrolling bikes, and several cars was carried out at 10 am from the SSP office in Sector 14 A to the Goal Chakkar in Sector 15 via Film City. A large number of police officers and traffic police gathered at the venue and spoke about ways of increasing awareness of traffic rules.
