481 evacuees from Italy are being looked after at ITBP Chhawla Quarantine Facility, New Delhi, no fresh symptoms seen.

New Delhi (28/03/2020) :  Total 481 Indian evacuees from Corona Virus hit Milan and Rome Italy have been looked after at ITBP Chhawla Quarantine Facility, New Delhi. No fresh symptoms of Corona Virus seen till now. These two batches of 218 and 263 persons reached India from Italy on 15 and 22 March, 2020 respectively.

All people given all basic facilities required at the Centre as done with the previous lot of evacuees. Daily monitoring and checkups will also be undertaken by the ITBP medicos.

No one in the group has been tested with any Corona Virus Symptoms. The expected quarantine period is 14 days plus.

Emergency arrangements have also been catered at the Centre including isolation beds and Ambulances.
