70 year old lady killed in Noida sector-15, investigation underway

Noida (Gautam Buddha Nagar): In a shocking incident, a 70 year old lady was found murdered in her house in Noida sector- 15. Police had taken the body for postmortem and further investigation is underway.

As per information from the neighbors, the woman used to live alone in her house as her relatives live abroad.

The victim’s body was found inside a bathroom and prime facie, it is suspected that she was strangled to death.

Police has also pressed dog squad and forensic teams into action to probe the case.

Sharing details of the case, ADCP Ranvijay Singh said, “we are working on different clues. Some property angle is being suspected. There are many other issues as well and we are probing them. We are interrogating some people regarding the same.”

Earlier in the day, dead body of another woman was found in farms near Noida expressway. Following the investigation, police had arrested the victim’s husband and it was suspected that she was killed following a fight between the two.
