DELHI CONGRESS TO ASK ONE QUESTION EACH EVERY DAY TO THE KEJRIWAL GOVERNMET FROM FEBRUARY 8 TO 14 REGARDING THEIR MISRULE AND NON-PERFORMANCE.

NEW DELHI, Feb. 5—Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Ajay Maken said the DPCC will observe February 14 as “Chhalawa Diwas” to expose the  misrule and all-round failure of the Aam Aadmi Party Government in Delhi  in the past one year, and as a result, the people of Delhi were suffering.

Addressing a press conference at the DPCC office, Rajiv Bhawan, here today, Shri Ajay Maken said to mark the “Chhalawa Diswas”, Congress workers will take out a candle-light march from Rajghat to India Gate  on February 14 to expose the  AAP Government’s failures on all fronts, their lies and falsehood, during  their one-year misrule. He said the DPCC will also come out with a booklet on February 11 on the failures of the AAP Government in the past one year, and also ask the Kejriwal Government one question each every day from February 8 to 14 about its failures. He said the booklet will contain startling information about the failures of the AAP Government, which is not in the public domain, but has been obtained through RTI. Shri Maken said the Congress was exposing the AAP Government as a responsible opposition, and for the larger good of the people of Delhi.

Shri Ajay Maken said 21000 Congress workers will also present a rose flower each to the Kejriwal Government carrying a message, asking it not to repeat its mistakes in the next one year and give good governance so that the people of Delhi are not put to suffering and hardships. Others present at the press conference were chief spokesperson Smt. Sharmistha Mukherjee and Shri Chattar Singh.

Shri Ajay Maken said the past one year had witenessed terrible misrule, putting the people to all sorts of trouble, as the MCD sanitation workers went on strike four times for the non-payment of  their wages, leaving the Capital a city of garbage, which had never happened when Congress was in power for 15 years. He said the people of Delhi, who voted for the AAP party in the Assembly elections and the BJP in the parliamentary elections, were totally let-down by both these parties, as APP and BJP spent their time fighting against each other instead of addressing the problems of the people and the city. As a result, the people of Delhi suffered a “double blow”.
