Santosh Yadav is new #NoidaMetro Managing Director

Greater Noida: The state government has appointed senior IAS officer and former Ghaziabad Development Authority vice-chairman Santosh Yadav as managing director of Noida Metro Rail Corporation, the post which till now was held by Noida Authority chairperson Rama Raman.

Yadav, who was UP’s resident commissioner in Delhi, is said to be close to CM Akhilesh Yadav.

A 1995-batch IAS officer, Yadav was the vice-chairman of the Ghaziabad Development Authority till May last year, following which he was appointed secretary to the chief minister in Lucknow. The state government later transferred him to Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority as CEO on June 8.

After being kept in waiting for a while, he was posted as resident commissioner of Uttar Pradesh in Delhi.
