EXPECTATIONS 2017 – FROM PEOPLE OF NOIDA, NOIDA AUTHORITY AND NOIDA POLICE

Ten News survey on expectations from NA and Police is surely a good step towards bridging the gap between service providers and its seekers.

At the same time it is also requested to consider pledge by the people, what can be done by them as society , as Self Help Group to demonstrate to NA & police in defined areas.

Just imaginary but if under dynamic leadership of renowned noida residents, Can we pledge as group of self contributory people:

1. To promote awareness among residents and motivate them to install CCTV covering some part of roads also. If 5000 residents, which is around 2-3% of total dwelling units of noida, install CCTV camera, not only that it would help police to nab many culprits but also reduce petty crimes automatically. Now a days, set of 4 camera cost roughly Rs 20000 only

2. To promote awareness and motivate people to install garbage disposal system at their houses. Now a days solutions available as small as fit for 2 BHK. Cost is around Rs 15000/- per person. Believe me 30-40% of garbage will be eliminated from roads.

3. To save electricity using energy efficient appliances and switch off when not in use. It is also quite possible to put up solar panels which would reduce atleast 50 MW of demand in noida

4. To avoid using cars, if going in nearby markets say upto one km. Use of public transport, taxi if going at distance which would reduce parking needs. One can pledge to reduce purchase of diesel / petrol atleast by 20%

5. To grow fruit bearing trees in nearby parks. Upto one lac tree can be grown in parks or road sides. No one would remain hungry in future.

6. Recycle of water by putting up small scale of STP in houses, industry, institutes etc

NA is requested :
1. Flexibility of policy to allow domestic plots for paying guest, OYO type companies, 25% built up area on GF for commercial activities useful for neighbourhood needs, use of 50% area by professionals. Yes there would be certain problems but at the same time many problems would also be solved of residents.

2. Noida is full of single residents due to industrial activities. Planned food joints, having approval of FSSI, in almost each block of each sector.

3. Child care by working couples is another area of importance to be targeted. At the same time many house wives are without earning capacity. Let their be policy that upto 10 children are allowed in domestic area under child care scheme by house wives, with registration with NA at nominal fee (deemed approval on information)

4. Setting up of Control Room for electricity distribution system of Noida having call centre there only

5. Reduction of transfer fee to 1% on sale- purchase of property. Builders need to be barred to impose transfer fee over Rs 10000/- per dwelling unit.

6. Setting up Voluntary Citizen Force, under retired administrator , provided with some sort of official powers to supervise & report field operations of contractors and seek public opinions. It would create positive image among citizens.

For Police

I pray that they must be given one weekly off.

They must have defined duty hours

Pray all vacant positions are being filled up

Hope all traffic operations are awarded to volunteers at cost under ex-servicemen

Each police person is being given flat to reside with family in noida sectors only

Police stations are reconstructed, providing more working spaces . May be converting existing buildings into 8-10 storey buildings

Hope to have mini 100 control centre at Noida too to cover entire noida, greater noida
