Workshop on Hot and Swift Delivery by Mumbai Dabbawalas and “Sensitivity to creativity” by Vigyan Ratna Lakkshman Prasad in Accurate Institute of Management and Technology
A one day workshop was organized at Accurate Institute of Management & Technology on “Hot & swift delivery” & “Sensitivity to Creativity” on 5th April, 2014. Workshop was started with the lamp lighting by Executive Director of the institute Dr Rajeev Bhardwaj, distinguished guests & other directors of the Accurate group of institutions. Dr Bhardwaj pronounced the welcome address to the guests & introduction to the workshop. Prominent speakers were the president of Mumbai Dabbavala Association, Mr Raghunath D Medge & Vigyanratna Dr Laxman Prasad. Mr Raghunath told about the success story of the Mumbai Dabbawala that how this association was started & with its commitment to excellent service how they were awarded six sigma quality certification. He also encouraged the management students for developing enterprising mindset.
In the second session of workshop Vigyanratna Dr Laxman Prasad shared his thoughts about “Sensitivity to Creativity”. He told students that how innovation can bring simplicity & perfection in our life & also in the technologies. Dr Prasad told that the young generation, specially the people from the management education should develop innovated ideas in for the betterment of man & machine & business processes in order to bring more efficiency, reduced costs & better living. Lastly Workshop convener(s) Dr Neerja Sharma and Prof. Avinash KelaGave the vote of thanks and briefed about the importance of innovation in human life.
