Hundreds of women would get raped today, would get killed today, hundreds of girls would become victims of traficking, sexual abuse, domestic violence today. Those women don’t know it is women’s day today!”
She further said, “It is a good thing that the people are celebrating women’s day but a lot of work still left to do.”
She has been awarded in an event organised by the National Institute for Gender Justice (NIGJ) ‘Being Fearless’ Beti Bachao Beti Padhao to mark International Women’s Day in National Capital.
