Greater Noida Authority CEO reviews rural development projects, issues directives for time bound execution

Greater Noida Authority CEO Partha Sensharma today chaired a meeting to review the rural development work in the region. He has directed the concerned officials of project department to complete all tender processes by the end of monsoon season so that development work can start soon after it.

Greater Noida Authority in its statement today said that industrial development authority is specially focusing on the rural development so that citizens of rural areas of Greater Noida can get facilities on par with their urban counterparts.

In the financial year 2018-19 Authority has earmarked a budget of 184 crore for the rural development. The key development work concerns drains, interlocking tiles and construction of CC roads among others.

As of date, 39 different development projects worth 30.74 crore are in progress whereas tender process has been initiated for 64 development projects worth 58.62 crore.
