Over 23,000 sq/mtr Land Freed From Encroachment By Noida Authority in Sector 156

Noida, (5/12/2018): Noida Authority undertook an encroachment drive on Wednesday and removed encroachment from large chunks of land in village Jhatta.

The acquired land of over 23,000 square meters was freed from encroachment in this massive drive.

Noida Authority officials along with Noida police undertook the drive on Wednesday to recover the land and attach it back to Noida authority.

Village Jhatta lies in Knowledge Park police station area and its close proximity with Express way makes it a prime land area for Noida Authority. The area is part of Noida Authority’s sector 156 as per its master plan.

The Authority is trying to augment its land back and is undertaking various anti-encroachment drives in the district.

Noida Authority in September end had carried out an anti-encroachment drive in the city to remove illegal structures along roads. The anti-encroachment drive at that time was carried out in sectors 57, 58, 59 and 60, which house several business entities.
