Noida Police Arrest Lucknow-based builder for blackmailing married woman

Greater Noida: Today Noida police has arrested a Lucknow based builders for blackmailing a college girl by using her obscene pictures. The builder Bharat Pratap Rao was arrested from Radisson Blue hotel in Greater Noida while he was in the hotel for a meeting with his real estate client.

In an FIR registered on March 7 this year from an LLB student studying in a Greater Noida based private college, alleged that the accused is blackmailing her by making his obscene pictures viral on Social Media and pressurizing her to continue their relationship even the accused is already married and having two kids. Taking action in the matter police nabbed the accused as he visited the city for his business work.

Detailing in the incident SP Vineet Jaiswal told that “During interrogation accused told that he came in touch with the lady student through a common friend four years back and since then they are in a relationship. Accused is a fraud kind of builder and owns a company Named Sharvsidh Builders and also had a number of case registered against him in different police stations of Lucknow.”

When we checked his phone after his arrest we found chats with the victim girl and same obscene photos of her that he uploaded on social media. The accused and the girl were in a relationship from the last four years but when the girl gets to know about the accused she started maintaining a distance from him. After which the accused started pressurizing her and blackmailing her.
