Greater Noida Authority officials conducts inspection in the city over residents complaints on several issues!

Greater Noida Authority officials on Saturday carried out an inspection following complaints made by a group of residents living in high-rises apartments across Greater Noida West regarding illegal encroachment on services lanes and other key issues.

On Friday, residents under the banner ‘Media Connect’ had approached the authority and sought its intervention. They handed over their demands in written and requested the officials concerned to take immediate action.



In their letter, residents pointed out on a half covered drain which is causing problems to them. Complainants requested the authority to cover this drain before the monsoon arrives. The Greater Noida Authority, in reply, assured people of taking proper measures.

Pathetic condition of services lanes along the societies was another issue the residents had mentioned in their letter.

“Service lanes at many places have been encroached by the real-estate developers and vendors. Services lanes which need to be kept free are being used as parking areas. Hence we had urged the authority to take action against those who are avoiding rules and causing trouble for the general public,” said Vivek Raman, another resident of Gaur City.
