Delhi Public School, Greater Noida hosts Inter-DPS Annual Science Festival

Greater Noida, 22/10/19: Delhi Public School, Greater Noida recently hosted Inter-DPS Annual Science Festival on October 19, 2019. Nearly 400 talented Dipsites from 26 Delhi Public Schools across Delhi and NCR, demonstrated their scientific temper as well as skills at debating, dance and acting through a gamut of competitions, including ‘Learning by Doing’, ‘Group Discussion’, ‘Roll on’- depicting Science through Dance and a skit competition themed  ‘Robots at the Helm of Affairs’, exploring the boundless possibilities of artificial intelligence.

The event was graced by a galaxy of eminent guests. Complimenting the participants on their overwhelming participation, the Principal, Ms. Renu Chaturvedi, said that great accomplishments are a result of intelligence, imagination and involvement, combined with laborious efforts. She congratulated the Science department of the school for their commendable team work and tireless striving to make the Science Fest a grand success.

The winners of various On-site competitions received their trophies from the Special guests at the valedictory function. DPS Noida, with 2 first positions and 1 Second position in 4 events, lifted the trophy for the Overall Champions, followed by DPS, Panipat City as the First Runners’ Up. The host school that put up exceptional performances in various competitions did not compete for the trophies.

An array of Off-site events were also organized as part of the event, which saw a whopping participation of 96 Delhi Public Schools across the country.
