Delhi: Deputy CM Sisodia questions Centre on Parali Burning in Punjab, Haryana

New Delhi (02/11/2019): Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia today at a press meet exposed an affidavit that was submitted by Central Government which states that 46% of the smoke that delhiites are witnessing on roads, is just because of ongoing Parali Burning in neighbouring states.
He stated that ‘all the steps that we the government of Delhi are taking in order to secure its public from the hazardous affect of booming pollution, are not being followed!’
“When top court asked the central government about what they have done in order to get this thing stabled, they responded that we have provided 63,000 machines for the treatment of parnali in Delhi-NCR, Haryana and Punjab but when we look at the overall numbers of farmers in these places, there are 26 lakh farmers”, added Sisodia.
He questioned the Central Government that when this situation will be brought in control?
He added, “If such conditions continue in this part of nation, soon whole north India will wake up and witness such bad air conditions!”
Sisodia also stated that they have been trying to fix a meeting with Environment Minister but they recieve postponed date in response which is not expected in near future!
