AIC-BIMTECH, FIIT-IIT Delhi sign MoU to support startup ecosystem
Atal Incubation Centre- BIMTECH organized an MoU signing ceremony with FIIT-IIT Delhi in presence of guests Prof. Ravindra Kumar Sinha, Vice-Chancellor, Gautam Buddha University, Dr. Harivansh Chaturvedi, Director – BIMTECH, Dr. Abha Rishi, CEO-Atal Incubation Center-BIMTECH, Ashutosh Kumar, Head at DS Center of Entrepreneurship at IIT Delhi and Manveen Chadha Senior Manager (Incubation Program) with FITT, IIT Delhi and Shiv Shankar, Uttar Pradesh State Secretary Udhyam Bharat Manch our esteemed guests and our startups holding bright futures in the middle of us.
Speaking to the audience, Dr. Harivansh Chaturvedi, Director of Birla Institute of Management Technology, said that earlier students were not keen on entrepreneurship as a career but now challenges are becoming less and more students are thinking about becoming entrepreneurs.
Prof. Ravindra Kumar Sinha Vice-Chancellor, Gautam Buddha University shared his experience and observations gained over the years, he added tech commercialization is the need of the hour, and he gave examples of the products created in various government labs which have led to global utilization. He talked about seismic sensors which are utilized in Delhi Metro as an early warning system & in ATMs as security measures. Dr. Abha Rishi also added that this is not the time for competition but for collaboration.
The signing of an MoU between the Foundation for the Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT) team and AIC-BIMTECH took place during the event.
