Bihar, August 19th, 2022: Samajwadi Party chief and former CM of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav, on Thursday said that the political shift in Bihar is a “positive sign” and asserted that a strong alternative to BJP is formed in the 2024 Parliamentary elections.
He said that political allies in Uttar Pradesh are not happy with the current situation and they too, will break free from the saffron party in the future.
JD(U)’s Nitish Kumar recently dumped BJP and joined hands with Lalu Prasad’s RJD party, and other parties to form a new government in Bihar.
Yadav further added that his Samajwadi party is currently focusing on strengthening and restructuring its organization and will also hold a national convention this year.
The SP leader also accused the Election Commission of “dishonesty” and blamed it for his party’s defeat in the assembly polls.
Lastly, Yadav noted that he is working with other party members and ministers to prepare for the upcoming elections and build a stronghold in their respective states.
