IEEMA’s ELECRAMA 2023 Set to Reimagine Energy for a Sustainable Future

Delhi (India), February 17, 2023: The Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers’ Association (IEEMA) is gearing up to host the 15th edition of its flagship event, ELECRAMA, at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida from February 18th to 22nd, 2023.

ELECRAMA is the largest standalone showcase of India’s electrical and allied electronics industry, bringing together over 1,000 exhibitors on a gross of 1.1 lakh square meters.

This year, the focus of the event is on creating a platform to showcase products and solutions in new energies, in addition to discussions on research and development and innovation in new technologies, generation, transmission, and distribution, and building electrical products.

ELECRAMA 2023 will also feature the IEEMA Start-up Challenge, which aims to provide a platform for some of the most promising start-ups to showcase their innovations.

IEEMA has commissioned a study on “New Energies Electrical and Electronics Equipment Landscapes 2030” for the Green Hydrogen (GH2) value chain, electric vehicle allied infrastructure (charging infrastructure), and grid-scale battery storage applications.

The study will facilitate policy makers and the industry with technology aspects, key policy interventions, opportunities for equipment manufacturers, and success drivers. The report will be unveiled during ELECRAMA.

The event is also moving towards sustainability in operations by introducing eco-friendly lanyards and badges and minimizing the use of plastic. Elecra 2023 will have charging points for electric vehicles and use 2.5 MW of solar power. Moreover, improved visitor services such as a smart app, digital displays, and shuttle services have been introduced to ensure a better experience for all attendees.

ELECRAMA 2023 presents a unique opportunity for the Indian electrical equipment manufacturing industry to explore business opportunities in new areas such as railways and metro rails, buildings, smart cities, and defense. With confirmed appearances by eminent dignitaries such as RK Singh, Minister for Power; Piyush Goyal, Minister for Commerce and Industry; and Alok Kumar, Secretary, Minister of Power, ELECRAMA 2023 promises to be a significant event in the industry’s calendar.
