I.T.S Engineering College, one of the Premier Institution in the field of Engineering and Management Education organized a Guest Lecture on “Sequential and parallel Data Structure and algorithm” by Prof. Sartaj Sahani.

 

The opening of program was made by welcoming speech of ITS Engineering College student who briefed about Prof. Sartaj Sahani who is one of the renowned Professor in CISE, University of Florida, USA. The Welcome note was given by Dr. Vineet Kansal, Director ITS Engineering College, Gr. Noida.

 

Prof. Sartaj Sahaniwas welcomed with the bouquet presentation by Dr. Vineet Kansal, Director ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida and the talk was initiated by Honorable guest Prof. Sartaj Sahani.

 

During the interactive session, Prof. Sahani answered several questions based on Data Structures, Amortized Analysis, P, NP, NP-Hard, NP Complete, solvable and Unsolvable problems and motive the present participants to do research in new areas of Data Structure & Algorithms. He also told there is scope in identifying Data Structures for Data base besides what we are using like B-tree, B+tree. Prof.. Sahani covered each of the crucial parts of Data Structure & Parallel Algorithms.Prof. Sahani discussed algorithms along with data structure and different ways of information can be represented in a computer program

 

Students and faculty of I.T.S Engineering College attended the session. It was very prestigious for ITS Engineering College to have such a Dignified and very Humble Knowledgeable Gentleman and to grasp his views and vision. The lecture closed with handing of Token of Appreciation and Vote of Thanks.
