New Delhi (India), 25th March 2023: Credit Suisse presented a report on ChatGPT’s prospects at the 26th Asian Investment Conference, which took place in Hong Kong from March 21 to 23, 2023.
A research report by Credit Suisse’s global sector research teams looked deeply into ChatGPT, the adjacent AI use cases that could emerge by industry or sector and the businesses that are most likely to profit from the rapid rise in AI model deployments.
The study highlights how the OpenAI software outperformed TikTok and Instagram in terms of growth rate, registering 100 million users in just two months.
According to TIME, the AI chatbot gained popularity much quicker than social media platforms in just a few short weeks. After going live on November 30, 2022, ChatGPT quickly surpassed one million users, 57 million by December 20, and 100 million by January 2023.
The study concluded that after further development and ultimate regulation, generative artificial intelligence is likely to be transformative and revolutionary.
The Credit Suisse’s report described generative AI, chatbots and Bing’s AI as, “broadly transformative and predominantly a productivity, cost-cutting, efficiency tool versus a revenue-generating tool today as it pertains to most industries.”
