Mumbai, 25th May 2023: The death of actor Nitesh Pandey has shaken the television industry. Nitesh died on May 23 at the age of 51, leaving his Anupamaa co-star Rupali Ganguly heartbroken. The actress went to Pandey’s house on Wednesday to attend her late co-star’s funeral.
Viral Bhayani posted a video of Rupali Ganguly arriving at Nitesh’s house, then consequently released another video of Rupali walking out of his house and towards her car, her eyes moist. Rupali was then seen sobbing uncontrollably after getting into the automobile. Rupali hid her face with her dupatta, but the pain of the loss was obvious in her eyes.
Rupali, who was close to the actor on the production, revealed her wonderful memories and friendship with Nitesh. She stated, “He was the only industry friend who stayed constantly in touch with me apart from Delnaaz and Sarabhais, during my sabbatical. He had even come to meet me after Rudransh was born.”
Expressing her disbelief she further said, “I can’t believe this! His son Aarav is just a few months older than Rudransh. He had messaged me just last week about a painting he had made and we had made plans to make our sons meet.”
Nitesh Pandey had worked in the acting profession for over 25 years. He was born in Uttarakhand and has appeared in shows such as Manzilein Apani Apani, Astitva…Ek Prem Kahani, Saaya, Justajoo, and Durgesh Nandini.
He has also appeared in films such as Om Shanti Om and Badhaai Do.
Not only that, but he also ran Dream Castle Productions, an independent production company. Everyone praised his performance in Khosla Ka Ghosla. He was most recently seen in the shows Anupamaa and Pyar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara.
