New Delhi, 05th June 2023: Indian Education Ministry has announced the National Institute Ranking Framework for the current year. Indian Institute of Technology, Madras or IIT-Madras has topped the ranking yet again, marking the five consecutive years of it being at the top of the list.
The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru has been ranked the best university in the country. IISc Bengaluru bagged second in the ‘overall’ category, followed by IIT Delhi.
IIT-Madras retains the top position for the eighth-consecutive year in the list of engineering institutions in the country, only to be followed by IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay.
Miranda House, under the flagship of Delhi University, has emerged as the top college, along with the Hindu College. At the same time, the Presidency College in Chennai bagged the second position on the list.
IIT Kanpur emerged as the top institution for innovation, while IISc Bengaluru won the top position for research.
Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Hyderabad, emerged as the best educational institutions in the management and pharmaceutical fields.
The National Law School in Bengaluru, under India University, topped the list of the best law schools in the country, followed by the National Law University in Delhi and the NALSAR Law University in Hyderabad.
