Greater Noida News (18 August 2026): In a significant step towards inclusive skill development and social empowerment, Aarya Fashions organized a special handicraft and jewelry-making training program for children with special needs at its Ecotech-3 unit in Greater Noida on Monday. The initiative, inspired by the objectives of ‘Operation Aparajey’, focused on equipping specially-abled children with practical skills that can contribute to their confidence, independence, and future livelihood opportunities.

The program was attended by Gautam Buddha Nagar Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh, IPS, who graced the event as the Chief Guest. Senior police officials accompanying her included Joint Commissioner of Police Rajeev Narayan Mishra, DCP and Nodal Officer of Operation Aparajey Suniti, ACP Ecotech-3 Rajeev, SHO Ecotech-3, and other officers from the Commissionerate.

Addressing the gathering, Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh emphasized the need for collective efforts by society, educational institutions, and industries to nurture the abilities of children with special needs. She said the vision behind Operation Aparajey is to ensure that every child receives dignity, protection, opportunities, and an environment that enables them to realize their full potential.

The initiative was led by Dr. Khushboo Singh, Founder of Aarya Fashions and noted social activist, who said the program was conceived after being inspired by the goals of Operation Aparajey, launched by the Gautam Buddha Nagar Police Commissionerate in June 2026 for the welfare, safety, and development of special children.

Dr. Singh stated that skill-based learning can play a transformative role in the lives of children with special needs by enhancing their creativity, confidence, and economic independence. She added that the company aims to create sustainable opportunities for such children through continuous training and support rather than one-time assistance.

During the event, Commissioner Lakshmi Singh praised Dr. Khushboo Singh’s efforts, describing the initiative as an exemplary model of social responsibility. She noted that empowering children through vocational skills is a meaningful way of helping them become self-reliant and encouraging their participation in society.

Around 30 children from Abhay Rainbow Kids Foundation participated in the training program. The group included children with autism, Down syndrome, and other developmental conditions. The children were accompanied by Disha Kapoor, Principal of Abhay Rainbow Kids Foundation, and members of her team.

The training sessions were conducted by Abhishek Chauhan, Managing Director of Aarya Fashions, along with the company’s senior employees and master craftsmen. Participants were introduced to various creative activities, including jewelry making, handicraft creation, packaging techniques, and small-scale craft production. Trainers worked closely with the children, guiding them through each activity with patience and encouragement.

A live demonstration of jewelry-making techniques was one of the highlights of the event. The children actively participated, displayed keen interest in the process, and enthusiastically created handcrafted items under expert supervision. The interactive sessions created an atmosphere of learning, creativity, and confidence-building.

Reaffirming the company’s commitment, Dr. Khushboo Singh announced that Aarya Fashions would continue supporting the children by providing free raw materials, finished components, and regular skill-development training. She said the company’s team would also visit the institution periodically to offer guidance and mentorship, ensuring long-term growth opportunities for the children.

The event concluded on an inspiring note, with guests and participants appreciating the initiative as a meaningful example of inclusive development. Attendees expressed hope that more industries and organizations would adopt similar models to empower special children through education, skill-building, and sustained support.
