A DESPERATE & NOTORIOUS WANTED BC OF PS CHANDNI MAHAL ARRESTED AFTER UNTIRING EFFORTS

With the arrest of accused Aamir @ Aadu, aged 28 about years r/o Pahari Bhojla, Turkman gate, Delhi, the Police Officials of PS Chandni Mahal, Central District worked out a sensational case of Robbery of PS Kotwali, which took place on 10-02-2014.

One country made pistol along with two live cartridges have been recovered from his possession.

INCIDENT, TEAM AND ARREST:

Keeping in view the sudden spurt in incidents of theft in the district, a special team comprising of SHO/Chandni Mahal, SI Rajkumar, Ct. Sanjeev, Ct. Sandeep, Ct. Ravinder, Ct. Ravi and Ct. Yusufled by Inspr. Anil Kumar and under the close supervision of Sh. Pranav Tayal, ACP/Daryaganj was constituted to develop information about the criminals who were active in the area.

On 04-06-2014 at about 9.00 PM, when the police team was on patrolling duty, a secret information was received that one B.C. of P.S. Chandni Mahal would come near Turkman Gate in the area of Chandni Mahal. At about, PM, 9:15 p.m., one suspicious person was coming from Turkman Gate, Delhi. On seeing the police party, he turned back and tried to flee away. But due to the alertness and quick response of the police team, he was apprehended by the police team after a short chase. On his personal search, one country made pistol along with two live cartridges were recovered from his possession. Subsequently, a case vide FIR No. 142/14 u/s 25 Arms Act was registered at PS Chandni Mahal and the investigation was taken up.

INTERROGATION:

On sustained interrogation, accused person revealed his identity as Aamir @ Aadu r/o Pahari Bhojla, Turkman gate, Delhi. He further disclosed that he along with his accomplice namely Tasleem ( dreaded criminal of walled city) had committed robbery at the Dhaba of one Mohd. Wahid of Ballimaran four months ago in full view of public in the area of P.S. Kotwali vide FIR No. 129/14, Dated 10.02.14, u/s 392/34 IPC. On verification, it was found that accused Aamir @ Aadu has previously been involved in sixteen cases of theft, Arms Act and hurt of P.S. Chandni Mahal, P.S. Kamla Market, P.S. Hauz Qazi and P.S. Kashmere Gate, Delhi.

Further investigation / interrogation is in progress.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED

Aamir @ Aadu r/o Pahari Bhojla, Turkman gate, Delhi is about 28 years old and he is residing along with his family at the above address. He had developed friendship with rowdy type of boys. He started working as labourer at a very tender age and influenced with the movies and stories of his friends, he entered into the criminal arena in the year 2003 and soon after that started criminal activities with his gang. Soon after that he developed rivalry with the opposite gang headed by another notorious criminal namely Rehan @ Gaonwala.
