ACCMAN Institute of Management -6th Convocation Ceremony and Aahan-2014

ACCMAN Institute of Management held its 6th Convocation Ceremony on 11th January, 2014. Vice Chancellor of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, (A Central University), Lucknow, Prof (Dr.) R. C. Sobti, was the Chief Guest, and he awarded Post Graduate Diplomas to the students of PGDM and PGDM (Marketing) 2011-13 Batch. .Congratulating the students, he urged them to “make every single effort possible to live up to the expectations and aspirations of society”. Dr. Sobti further said that always think of and adopt in life the meaning and goodness of “Sandhya, Swadhyaya, Satsang and Sewa”, and “try to bridge the gap between have and have not”.
Shri Bupender Nayyar, Executive Director, Oriental Bank of Commerce, the Guest of Honour at the Convocation, heartily complimented the students on their success. He said that one has to have an issue based disposition as opposed to personality based disposition. Life in future and the professional career would be characterized by ‘brute quotient’.
Prof Arun Singh, Chairman of the Institute said that opportunities are abundant. The previously passed out students of ACCMAN are contributing passionately in public and private sector banks, domestic and multi-national companies, in India and abroad. Reputed banks and top business houses have been recruiting students of ACCMAN to their management cadre. The Convocation reflects the Institutes efforts in creating future professionals who will strive to bring about positive change around them.
Prof (Dr.) K Ajay SIngh, Director, gave the welcome address. During his inspiring address, he shared the Progress Report of the Institute, and extended his wishes to the students. He said that the students will be able to meet all the challenges and expectations.
AAHAN 2014 was inaugurated by Prof (Dr) K. Ajay Singh Director, and Prof. Denesh Singh. Day one was a grand success as 20 Institutes participated in the event, few of them are Amity Business School, Jaipuria Institute of Management, JRE Group of Institutions, IMS Ghaziabad, ITS Group of Institutes, NIET, Army Institute, IBA Greater Noida, Indian Institute of Finance, Manav Rachna University. The events organized were “Breathless, Carpet Baggers, Mensa Vs. Mensa, Opinion Leaders, Boardroom Games, Graffiti, and Ad-Mad Show”. Atmosphere at the campus was very vibrant and jubilant.
Some of the winners for the competitions are Vinay Kumar (IMS, Ghaziabad) in Graffiti, Kushal (Amity Business School) in Boardroom Games, Diya and Kumareesh (ITS and Jaipuria Institutes) in Debate, Ankit (ACCMAN Institute) in Extempore & Alokananda – team in Ad-Mad Show (ACCMAN Institute of Management).
