Accused arrested for attacking Cricketer Parvinder Awana
One accused has been arrested while three others are absconding.

Indian Cricketer and Noida Pacer Parvinder Awana was thrashed by a group of unidentified attackers on 20th July 2017. He immediately sought help using Ten News’s proactive citizen-administration connect platform on watsapp named “Ten News Noida” group.
A case was registered in this regard and police today captured one of the accused together with the vehicle which was used in that day’s incident.
Case of Mistaken identity
Kasna Police SHO Jitendra Kumar informed that a man named Tilak Singh has been arrested in this regard. As per reports four people were involved in the assault. The search is on for the other three accused.
The Santro vehicle in which the four accused were travelling has also been recovered from arrested individual. Police is interrogating him for more information about his accomplices.
The accused claims that he had come with three of his friends to beat a guard who would misbehave with another accused Nagendra’s girlfriend. However the said guard wasn’t present on duty on that day. Later they mistook Indian Cricketer to be a friend of Security Guard and hence thrashed him in confusion.
