After Sakshi Maharaj, Amit Shah defends Baba Ram Rahim claims Congress

While addressing a press conference on Tuesday in New Delhi, Senior Congress leader Manish Tewari, said that the very unfortunate developments which took place in Panchkula over the last week or so, very important issue seems to have escaped our attention.

He further stated that, on Sunday, a report was published in a newspaper that concurrently publishes from 7 places in Rajasthan and on Sunday on the front page of that newspaper, there was a story which was headlined as follows, ‘Amit Shah ne judge ko zimmedar bataya hinsapurn updrav ke liye’ – in a sense what the report suggests is that the President of the BJP, while talking to ostensibly beat Reporters, who cover the BJP, suggested that the Judge who was hearing the matter, the Judge of the CBI Special Court was responsible for violence which took place.

Amit Shah further said that as the newspaper suggests, that the Judge was requested to either postpone the judgment or possibly shift the venue of the Court. Till today, this report has not been denied by the BJP or its President. To the best of my information, the newspaper in question stands by its report, Manish Tewari added.
