American Embassy officials take stock  of ‘Clean India’ mission at Faridabad

On the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a ‘Clean India’, every city is doing its best to figure out in the top 50 cities recognised to be the ‘Clean City’. Faridabad is no different to all of these cities of the country. In order to take a stalk of the clean India mission in Faridabad, officials from American Embassy at New Delhi visited the industrial town. The city, already in the fray for being in the list of smart city, has been taking a number of steps to make the city an icon of cleanliness. In order to assess the preparedness of the city, all the three officials from American Embassy including Project Director Jason K. Siger, Zonal Director Charles S Chuk Pope and Deputy Director Paul Iyong, visited the old city of Ballabgarh. They also went through the ‘Prepaid Toilets’, installed at Old Faridabad for the first time.

Superintending Engineer MCF Shri Anil Mehta informed that the visitors expressed their satisfaction on the state of cleanliness in the city. He further informed that the satisfaction of these officials is very important because they would be submitting their report to the Central Government. Others who accompanied the team from American Embassy included Administrative Advisor of MCF Shri Pushpendra Chauhan and Col Shailendra Kapoor Executive Director Faridabad Industries Association.
