“Annual Award Function Samarpan 2019” Organised on 17th anniversary of Navratan Foundations

Noida (13/05/2019) : Celebrating its 17th foundation day Navratan Foundations organized “Samarpan 2019, 17th Annual award function” at Indira Gandhi Kala Kendra. In this award function, the hidden talents of the region, who have done something extraordinary in their life and has contributed to this region in any aspect were facilitated.

Ashok Srivastava President, Navratan Foundations welcomed and thanked all eminent guest for their presence. As per the Navratan Foundations tradition, the program began with the traditional lighting of the lamp.

The mission of the Navratan Foundations is to unearth unseen talent in art and music by conducting stage shows and giving platform to thousands of raw talent. This time also foundation unearth a ladies group named Gunjan Sakhi. This group use to sing folk songs that are played in Indian wedding and other rituals. Nowadays this art form is about to die but Navratan Foundations took the initiative to revive this art by providing them a platform to and making them empowered so that they can get work opportunity in the market.

Awards were given under 10 different category and the winners got rewarded with memento and cash prizes. In between award ceremony artists from Kclpana Kala Kendra, Gyaneshwwari Institute of Teaching and Performing Arts presented various dance performances.

Ten News interacted with different award winners of the evening, Nitin Jain who has started his journey from Navratan Foundations in 2003 in field of arts got facilitated for his achievements in the field of arts. Nitin was present with her wife Mani Jain who is also featuring along with him in a beautiful post wedding song. During this special screening of the song was also done and the song was largely applauded by audiences.

Rohan district topper of class 10th UP board 2018 who got facilitated with a cash prize of 11 thousand for which he praised the initiative of Navratan Foundations and thanked for recognizing him. Apart from this many awards like under Navratan Gyaan Pith, Adult education center was given.
