#ARVINDKEJRIWAL SHOULD CLARIFY HIS STAND ON FAMILY CONNECTIONS IN POLITICS & LALU YADAV A CORRUPTION CONVICT– SATISH UPADHYAY

New Delhi, 15 July.   Delhi BJP President Shri Satish Upadhyay has said that going by media reports on Smt. Swati Maliwal’s likely appointment as Delhi Commission for Women Chairperson and Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s ongoing political parleys with Shri Nitish Kumar it appears India’s Self Proclaimed Mr. CLEAN has now changed his stand on fight against corruption & family connections in politics.

Shri Upadhyay has said that Mr. CLEAN had all along said that he opposes family connections in politics and in case of D.C.W. he had said members of political parties should not be appointed as D.C.W. Chairperson.

If one has to believe reports of likely appointment of Smt. Swati Maliwal at D.C.W. it seems Mr. CLEAN has taken inspiration from his Congress mentors book and adopted Family Politics Concept. Smt. Swati happens to be wife of Shri Naveen Jaihind a close associate of Shri Kerjiwal. It has been a matter of discussion in political circles that they have family connections too.

D.C.W. Act 1994 Chapter-II, Section-III says that the Chairperson should be committed for betterment and empowerment of women. The word committed infers that the appointees track should be proven in the field of women rights works. Here we find an around 30 year woman with no proven record being appointed. In 2014 when AAP came to power Shri Kejriwal had proposed the name of one Smt. Pushpa Maitri for the post of D.C.W. Chairperson, it is strange that Shri Kejriwal did consider that name this time. 

Shri Upadhyay said that the political parleys going on between Chief Minister Sh. Arvind Kejriwal & Bihar CM Shri Nitish Kumar too raise question vis a vis Kejriwal’s stand on Corruption.

Shri Nitish Kumar who too pretends of clean image is in alliance with a Corruption Convict Shri Lalu Yadav. It is highly shocking that Shri Kejriwal who spoke a lot of bringing Lokpal & shunting corrupt out of political arena today shares lime light with Shri Nitish Kumar who is a partner of tainted politician Shri Lalu Yadav.

It appears it is political alliance with Nitish & Lalu which has made Shri Kejriwal put Lokpal out of his political priority and is even running away from appointing the mandatory Lokayukta in Delhi despite High Court orders.
