AUTO-LIFTER CUM BURGLAR WANTED IN ATTEMPT TO MURDER CASE ARRESTED BY AATS/ WEST DISTRICT

The staff of AATS/ West District has arrested an Auto-lifter cum Burglar namely Aakash @ Chotu S/o Chote Singh R/o S-234, Mangol Puri, Delhi involved in five criminal cases of auto-lifting/Burglary from the area of Udyog Nagar, Metro Station. He is also wanted in case FIR No. 470/14, dated 03.07.14, U/s 307/34 IPC and 25/27/54/59 Arms Act, PS Mianwali Nagar, New Delhi.

NAME & PROFILE OF ACCUSED ARRESTED: –

Aakash @ Chotu S/o Chote Singh R/o S-234, Mangol Puri, Delhi, Age – 22 years.

The accused Aakash @ Chotu S/o Late Chote Singh was born in 1992 at his native village Korarapur, Agra, U.P. His father was working as labourer in village. He studied upto 8th class at City Convent School, Agra, U. P. In 2003, and his family came to Delhi in search of job. The accused started working in a shoe factory in Udyog Nagar with his father. His father was a cancer patient. The family had to spend a huge amount over his treatment and thus he had to shut down the factory and started working in shoe factory. After some time he opened a Chinese key chain shop in Sadar bazaar area, but had to close due to theft. In March 2011, he eloped with a minor girl and was arrested vide case FIR No. 82/11, dated 03/03/2011, U/S 363/376 IPC, P. S. Mangol Puri, Delhi. He is involved in House Tresspass, attempt to murder, Arms Act etc. cases. His area of operation is West and Outer District. He was last released from jail in June 2012.

INFORMATION/ OPERATION:
On 03/07/2014, Aakash @ Chotu S/o Chote Singh R/o S-234, Mangol Puri, Delhi alongwith his associates namely Rahul @ Monu S/o Mam Chand R/o H. No.L-288, Mangol Puri, Delhi and Shamshuddin @ Shamshu @ Shamshu Maharaj S/o Deen Mohd. R/o K-628, Mangol Puri Delhi has opened fired on Dhiraj S/o Chander Pal R/o A-13, DSIDC Nangloi, Delhi. In this regard a case vide FIR No. 470/14, U/S 307/34 IPC and 25& 27/54/59 Arms Act has been registered in P. S. Mianwali Nagar on his statement.
Rahul @ Monu S/o Mam Chand R/o H. No.L-288, Mangol Puri, Delhi and Shamshuddin @ Shamshu @ Shamshu Maharaj have already been arrested on 11.07.14 & 01.09.14 respectively in case FIR No. 470/14, U/S 307/34 IPC and 25& 27/54/59 Arms Act P. S. Mianwali Nagar.
A team comprising ASI Dipender Singh, HC Rishi Kumar, No. 551/W, HC Ved Prakash, No. 51/W, HC Naveen Kumar, No. 75/W, Ct. Mohit, No. 2351/W, Ct. Ajay Kumar, No. 1399/W and Ct. Naveen Kumar, No. 1455/W under the supervision of Inspector Dinesh Kumar, AATS/West was constituted. The team developed the information and reached DSIDC Nangloi Mangol Puri under pass road, Delhi and started checking vehicles.
At about 6.20 PM, one person was spotted coming on a Black & Green Yamaha FZ motorcycle from Mangol Puri side. He tried to turn back the motorcycle No. DL 8S AY 4650. However, the team acted swiftly and overpowered him during the operation. Later on he identified as Aakash @ Chotu S/o Chote Singh R/o S-234, Mangol Puri, Delhi. He was arrested u/s 41.1(a) Cr.PC. He was asked to produce the documents of the motorcycle, but could not produce the same and tried to mislead the team by giving false information. On enquiry it revealed that the motorcycle was stolen vide Case FIR No. 1541/14, dated 24/08/2014, U/S 379 IPC, P. S. Mangol Puri
DISCLOSURE & MODUS OPERANDI
On sustained interrogation, accused Aakash @ Chotu confessed his crime and further disclosed that he had stolen this motorcycle with his associate Rahul @ Monu Kabadi from Mangol Puri area. One of their associate Rahul @ Monu Kabadi was arrested in that case by the police on 11.07.2014 and disclosed his name with his another associates Shamshuddin @ Shamshu @ Shamshu Maharaj who was arrested on 01.09.14.
The accused disclosed that he had stolen another motorcycles from Ranhola area and a scooty from Janak Puri area registered vide FIR Nos.489/14, dated 29/06/2014, U/S 379 IPC, P. S. Ranhola, Delhi and case FIR No. 252/14, dated 09/03/2014 U/S 379 IPC, P. S. Janak Puri respectively with his associates Rahul @ Monu Kabadi to use them in commission of crime and further sell them to fulfill requirement of money. They have also committed a burglary a Kiryana shop in Ranhola area case registered vide Case FIR No. 500/14, dated 05/07/2014, U/S 380/457 IPC, P. S. Ranhola, Delhi and a readymade garments shop in Uttam Nagar area registered vide case FIR No. 653/14, dated 28/06/2014, U/S 457/380 IPC, P. S. Uttam Nagar, Delhi.
The staff involved in good work is being rewarded suitably.
