 Baisakhi celebrated at G D Goenka Public School Greater Noida today on Friday 10th march 2015 Keeping up with the tradition of celebrating all the festivals with great fervor and gaiety and apprising the children of their rich culture and heritage Baisakhi celebrations held today at School on Friday 10th march 2015.

The school premises were aptly decorated depicting the harvest season. Children were explained about the importance of this festival by showcasing a Punjabi Culture.

Dhol beats and Punjabi folk music added to their excitement. It was a treat to see the children dressed in colourful Punjabi traditional outfits. Speaking on the occasion Principal Neetu Kapoor said that Baisakhi was not only a harvest festival but also an auspicious day as on this very dayGuru Gobind Singh had established the ‘Khalsa Panth’
