Bharat Shiksha Expo 2024 Concludes with Grand Success and Unprecedented Participation

Greater Noida, 2024: The maiden edition of Bharat Shiksha Expo 2024 concluded with an enthusiastic response and overwhelming participation from students, educators, and industry leaders. Held in Knowledge Park-2, Greater Noida, this expo has marked its place as the region’s first exclusive education-focused event. Supported by the Department of Higher Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh and Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA), the expo has set a high standard for future editions with a mission to elevate India as a global knowledge hub.

The valedictory session was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Indresh Kumar, RSS leader; Dr. Harivansh Chaturvedi, Chairperson of Bharat Shiksha Expo, Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Chairman, India Expo Centre & Mart, Maj. Gen. B.D. Wadhwa, Pro-Chancellor, IILM University, Shri Y.K. Gupta, Pro-Chancellor, Sharda University, Dr. Avadesh Kumar, Pro Vice Chancellor, Galgotias University and Dr. Deepa Gupta, Dean, GL Bajaj Institute of Education with prominent academicians, industry experts, and an enthusiastic youth as the audience. With over 1 lakh visitors across three days, Bharat Shiksha Expo 2024 proved to be a platform of dynamic engagement and industry-academia collaboration.

In his inspiring address, Chief Guest Dr. Indresh Kumar praised the event for creating a transformative ecosystem in education, emphasizing that “Education without values makes a person criminal hence education must be given with values. We must raise people who not just gain respect but are worshipped. By doing so we ensure that we raise good citizens for the country and contribute to nation-building.” Also applauded Bharat Shiksha Expo saying it is a platform for learning as well as nurturing leaders who will contribute to India’s global position as a leader.

Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Chairman of India Expo Mart Ltd expressed excitement about the potential of the event to evolve into an internationally recognized platform. He said “Bharat Shiksha Expo is an inspiring step forward, bringing together thought leaders, innovators, and young minds to lay the foundation for India’s resurgence as a global knowledge leader,”

Bharat Shiksha Expo 2024 featured a diverse range of activities designed to inspire innovation and skill development among India’s youth. The event hosted several high-energy competitions, including a Hackathon, Startathon, Ideathon, Quiz, and dedicated counselling sessions. These activities not only showcased the students’ enthusiasm and talents but also highlighted the education sector’s capacity to prepare India’s next generation for a rapidly evolving world.

As a part of the closing ceremony, Dr. Indresh Kumar and other dignitaries felicitated the exhibitors and winners of each competition. This recognition served to honour their dedication, innovation, and hard work, fostering a sense of achievement and motivation among participants and organizers alike. With Bharat Shiksha Expo 2024, India has taken a significant step toward fostering a dynamic ecosystem where education and industry collaborate to build a skilled and innovative workforce. The dates for second edition of Bharat Shiksha Expo have been announced during the Valedictory Session which are as 24 – 26 April 2025.
