BIMTECH invites applications for distinguished research scholar awards

Greater Noida (India), Dec 11: Birla Institute of Management Technology has invited application for B.K. Birla distinguished research scholar awards from Indian resident researchers in management and social science areas.

“If you have published at least one research paper in FT50, ABS 4* or ABDC A* rated journals during preceding five years 2014 to 2018, you are eligible to submit your profile for the award”, BIMTECH said in a statement.

According to the prestigious MBA institute, the evaluation will be solely focused on published research papers preferably in the areas of Industry 4.0, Sustainability, CSR, Ethical Practices, Entrepreneurship, and Family Business.
“But applicants may list papers in other areas as well”, it added.

Basant Kumar Birla, who passed away in 2019 was the chairman of the Krishnarpan Charity Trust, BK Birla Institute of Engineering and Technology (BKBIET) and various educational trusts and institutes.

The distinguished scholar award will be awarded to three individuals with a prize money of INR 2 Lakh, 3 Lakh and 5 Lakh respectively.

While talking to Ten News, Dr H Chaturvedi, Director, BIMTECH, said, “This is the first of its kind and the biggest Award. This Annual award will promote quality research activities in India.“
