#BIMTECHConvocation organized with zeal and vigour @BIMTECHNoida

Birla Institute of Management Technology, Greater Noida is conducting it’s 29th convocation at its campus today.

Shri Hemant Kanoria, Chairman and Managing Director, SREI Infrastructure Finance Limited was the chief guest at the event. He has also been a member at board of governing council of ISM, Kolkata.

Dr Anupam Verma, member secretary, board of director, governing council BIMTECH, delivered the first address of the event and talked about changing times and managerial roles. He further declared the convocation open.

Dr. H Chaturvedi, Director,  BIMTECH also spoke at the event. He presented the amazing statistics of the Institute’s placement. He also thanked BIMTECH faculty on the occasion and said, “Our Faculty is our strength. They have diversity in terms of cultural and educational background”.

Speaking about the passing out batch Dr H. Chaturvedi said that 69.1% students of the passing out batch are males and 30.9% are females.

He also revealed that BIMTECH has become one of the 16 institutes selected by NITI Agog for setting up of “Atal Incubation Centre”. 3658 Institutes had applied for the grant and had to go through various rounds of inspections to get the grant.

Thereafter, Mr. Hemant Kanoria delivered the 29th Convocation Address. Speaking on the occasion he said, “The youth population can be used as a boon. India’s Infrastructure Journey has been a very Interesting one. The model of development that we have come with despite having economic reservations is something that world can learn from India. Even US can utilize their huge Infrastructure fund more sustainably by adopting Indian model. Public-Private partnership has worked very well in India”.
