Director H Chaturvedi Presents Annual Report, Addresses 29th #BIMTECHConvocation @BIMTECHNoida

H Chaturvedi Director of Birla Institute of Management Technology spoke at the occasion of 29th Convocation.

He started with a light note by speaking about the weather and said, “A while ago it was looking like that these heat waves might create problems in the convocation. However it was the conviction of our students and faculty that we are here doing it in best possible way.”

 

He presented a brief annual report for the academic session of 20016-17. Quoting from the report he informed, “All the five programs of our college are accredited by AICTE. Out of these five, two programs have approval of National Board of Accreditation which is in India. Our Two programs have also been conferred by AIU, the National Body for Universities. BIMTECH also has affiliations with two premier International bodies namely LOMA and Chartered Insurance Institute of UK.”

Director H Chaturvedi also informed the gathering that based on different statistics and parameters the National HRD Network has ranked BIMTECH at 5th position in allover India.



He further elaborated about few remarkable achievement of BIMTECH and its students, “The batch of 2015-17 has a total number of 346 students. Maximum numbers of these students have already been placed in renowned National and International companies. Efforts are also being made to place few remaining students as well. BIMTECH has also produced 350 entrepreneurs in last many years. BIMTECH has 12 alumni chapters including one each in Singapore, London and Dubai”.

He also told that as a part of its social responsibility BIMTECH has also opened library in five district jails of Uttar Pradesh.

His address was well received by the audience that had a mix of students, parents and esteemed guests from the region. Many of his announcements and facts were greeted by huge round of applause.
