BJP demands legal action against Arvind Kejriwal for instigating religious feelings

In a letter to the Election Commission the BJP Legal Cell has demanded stern action against AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal for his appeal to the voters that if they shall vote for BJP then it would be betrayal with the Khuda. BJP Delhi Pradesh President Dr. Harsh Vardhan has said that the Aam Aadmi Party is out of contest in the Loksabha Elections. The people of the country have realized that the Aam Aadmi Party is misleading them and making false promises. Hence the voters have decided to defeat the AAP candidates.

BJP Legal Cell National Co-Convener Shri Vivek Goyal said that according to section 123 (2)(a)(ii) of Representation of People Act, issuing statements to influence religious feelings of voters is a punishable offence. In view of imminent defeat of AAP candidate in Amethi Shri Kejriwal tried to influence the religious feelings of the voters which is immoral and also an offence according to law.
