BJP National President Nitin Nabin Celebrates Raksha Bandhan with Mahila Morcha Workers in New Delhi

National News (29 August 2026): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin celebrated the festival of Raksha Bandhan with Mahila Morcha workers at his residence in New Delhi on Friday. On the auspicious occasion, Mahila Morcha workers tied the ‘Raksha Sutra’ on Nitin Nabin’s wrist. The BJP National President expressed his gratitude to the women workers and extended his heartfelt greetings to citizens across the country on the sacred festival.

Speaking on the occasion, Nitin Nabin described Raksha Bandhan as a sacred thread of trust, affection and commitment. He said that he felt privileged to have the Raksha Sutra tied by his sisters during the festival.

Nabin highlighted the significance of the festival beyond the traditional ritual, describing the sacred thread as a symbol of affection, dedication and unwavering trust. He said the bond represented by Raksha Bandhan strengthens the resolve to stand by one another and provide support in every situation.

The BJP National President further said that Raksha Bandhan celebrates the unbreakable bond between brothers and sisters, while reinforcing affection, mutual trust and a sense of responsibility towards each other. Concluding his message, Nitin Nabin extended his heartfelt wishes to all citizens of the country on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan and emphasised the values of trust, affection and responsibility associated with the festival.
