#BJP, #Shiv Sena working to divide country: #RahulGandhi

 Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Saturday attacked the BJP and the Shiv Sena for their sustained campaign in trying to divide the country. In a reaction to Goa deputy chief minister Francis D’Souza’s ‘Hindu rashtra’ remark, Gandhi said in Amethi, “There is no difference between BJP and Shiv Sena. Both are working to divide the country. Congress is fighting against this.” 

In Goa, the local Congress and NCP units upped the ante demanding that D’Souza be sacked for the comment. The Congress said it would approach the governor for the disqualification of D’Souza and cooperation minister Pandurang ‘Deepak’ Dhavalikar for their unconstitutional comments on ‘Hindu rashtra’. “If the governor fails to act on our complaint, we will approach the court,” said Goa pradesh Congress committee president John Fernandes.
