#BJPSankalpPatr2019: BJP Releases its Party Manifesto for Lok Sabha Election 2019

New Delhi: The ruling BJP on Monday Released the party manifesto ‘Sankalp Patra’ for the 2019 general elections. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP President Amit Shah, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Defense Minister Sushma Swaraj and other senior party leaders and members of the Parliamentary Board, highest policy making body of the saffron party were present on the occasion.



The manifesto focused on the the welfare and empowerment of farmers, National Security, Citizens Amendment Bill, Jammu & Kashmir, Ram Temple, women and the weaker sections of society, job creation and issues like terrorism.

PM Modi on the occasion said that in 2014 the goal of his party was to fulfil needs of common Indians, and the period of 2014-2019 was spent in delivering on this. From now onwards the path will be to fulfil aspirations of the average Indian, and that is reflected in the manifesto.

“For the first time, so many citizens have been involved in the manifesto preparation. This is democracy in true sense. Manifesto reflects aspirations. Nationalism is our inspiration. One mission, one direction. From 2014 to 2019, if you look at our work, it is true that previous UPA government should be compared with 5 years of NDA on facts. India has started walking with dreams and hope now,” said PM Modi.

He further said, “We will start a separate ‘Jal Shakti Mantralay’ for optimum utilisation of water. There was a time when people would put up a handpump and win elections.Nal se jal kaise pohchaye. we want to work towards that.”

“From 2014 to 2019, if you look at our work, it is true that previous UPA government should be compared with 5 years of NDA on facts. India has started walking with dreams and hope now. Those sitting in air conditioned rooms in Delhi cannot ‘eliminate’ the poverty. Rather, empower the poor,” added PM Modi.

Union Minister Rajnath Singh at BJP’s election manifesto release said,

“The sankalp patra (or manifesto) is being presented as a vision document to 130 crore Indians. The manifesto was prepared after taking suggestions from various people. Our image has improved internationally. We are now aiming to be among the top 3 counties in the worldPeople of the country see hope in PM Narendra Modi. We have been successful in setting up a responsible, sensitive government. BJP’s manifesto has been made keeping in mind 130 crore Indians. We initiated talks with crores of people through samvadprogrammes and social media for suggestions to find out India’s ‘mann ki baat.”

BJP President Amit Shah at BJP’s election manifesto release, said,

“In 2014, the people of the country gave us a massive mandate and PM Modi became the PM. Despite a massive mandate on our own, we made an NDA government in 2014. In these 5 years, the BJP has worked towards providing a decisive government under the leadership of Narendra Modi. Our country is now counted as a world power. I believe our position in the world will improve further
Most households in the country today have electricity. There are more than 8 crore toilets, 7 crore houses have been provided with gas connections, free medical treatment has been ensured for 50 crore poor people. The Narendra Modi government has taken more than massive 50 steps in five years to be part of history. From 2014-19, our government has transformed the country.
