Boney Kapoor shares Venice Memories with Late wife Sridevi, Pens Sweet Note on 27th Anniversary

New Delhi (India), 2nd June 2023: On the occasion of their 27th wedding anniversary, producer Boney Kapoor paid tribute to his late wife, actress Sridevi, with a touching Instagram post.

The director shared a charming old photo of himself and Sridevi in what appears to be Venice. Sridevi and Boney Kapoor may be seen smiling for the camera in the shot. He stated in the caption, “1996 2nd June we got married in Shirdi, today we complete 27 years.”

Several fans of the actress commented on how much they miss her in the comments section. Sridevi died January 2018 in Dubai, where she had travelled for a family event.

Boney Kapoor recently commemorated the 36th anniversary of the legendary film Mr India, which starred Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s brother, actor Anil Kapoor.

He wrote in the caption of his Instagram image, “The watch of invisibility turns 36! Cherished memories of Mr. India, a film that has gained the adulation of India and Indians and has become a cult classic over the decades.”

Sridevi was well recognised for her roles in Moondram Pirai, 16 Vayathinile, Varumayin Niram Sivappu, Chandni, Lamhe, Mr India, Chaalbaaz, Nagina, Sadma, and English Vinglish, among many more.

Boney and Sridevi have two kids, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor. Boney Kapoor was previously married to the late Mona Kapoor, with whom he has two children, Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor.
