Builder audits reveal financial irregularities, Funds diverted to other projects

Two builders have been alleged of gulping the 355 core hard earned money of home buyers by making them dream of their own houses. Around 700 core of authority is still due over builders and this information was reveled after the builders project audits were submitted on Monday in a meeting of authority officials.
In an audit of 28 builder project carried out by an investigating committee headed by ACEO Amarnath Upadhya it’s been revealed that builders had gulped 1200 core of home buyers money. Committee also had re investigated the nine projects those who were suspected of doing most financial irregularities.
As per the investigation one builder had diverted the amount of 173 core of home buyer’s money in his other projects. 684 buyers had booked their flats in this project. Another builder who had diverted 182 core of 1455 buyer in other projects. Builders had keep taking EMI from buyers but not submitted the amount to the Authority as builders had now a due amount of 277 core of Authority also. In audit it has been revealed that some builders have even not started their construction work yet.
