Amid the rising Covid cases and shortage of beds, oxygen and medicines in Gautam Buddh Nagar, the district administration is now becoming slightly more vigilant so as to minimise the troubles that Covid patients and their relatives go through.

In its latest move, the administration has put local authorities in charge of different matters related to the disease. The local authorities will be responsible for promptly addressing and resolving any Covid related issues being faced by the common people. If they fail to do so, then people can raise complaint to the chief minister of the state or district magistrate, directly on twitter.

On Wednesday, the district recorded 536 new Covid cases along with 4 deaths. With this, the tally of active cases in the district crossed the mark of 4,000.
