Carrier India announces opening of new Technology Development Centre in Gurgaon

New Delhi: Carrier India announced the opening of a new technology development centre located at its Gurgaon facility.
Giorgio Rusignuolo also joined Arun Bhatia, MD, UTC Climate Controls and Security, on the occasion.

Giorgio is Vice President of Commercial HVAC Globally for Carrier. Giorgio, after 4 years of experience at FIAT Research Center, he joined Carrier-Italy as technical expert in Sound and Vibrations. After a one year assignment to Carrier Technology team in Syracuse, Giorgio was promoted to New Product Development Manager in 1998 and Engineering Director in 2002.

Arun Bhatia, while presenting information about their new centre and the work by Carrier India, said :

“The new development centre will also allow our engineers to focus on products that meet or surpass regulatory requirements for energy efficiency while using lower global warming potential (GWP) refrigerants. Carrier is fully supportive of ‘Make in India’ and the development centre will help us localize more energy-efficient products at our Gurgaon factory.”

While talking to Ten News, Arun Bhatia and Giorgio shared how their brand work gradually keeps sustainable development as a priority.
They were both asked about their ongoing work for introducing new technologies in India. Responding to the question, they explained how Carrier is keen to introduce in India at a price that every one of four targeted customers can afford.
