CBSE Regional Science Exhibition 2023-24 Ignites Innovation and Creativity at Manthan School

Greater Noida West, 15th December: CBSE Regional Level Science Exhibition 2023-24 kicked off with great enthusiasm on December 15 and 16 at The Manthan School in Greater Noida West. The inauguration ceremony, held on the first day, featured Professor C Ravi Shankar from IIT Delhi as the esteemed chief guest. The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp and a heartfelt worship of Goddess Saraswati. Adding a touch of creativity, students from The Manthan School treated the audience to a captivating dance performance.
In an exclusive interview with Ten News, Professor Ravi Shankar expressed his delight at the wealth of innovative ideas showcased at the exhibition. He emphasized the practical utility of many student-generated concepts, indicating a promising trajectory for the future. “It’s evident that these students are on the right path,” he remarked.
Reflecting on the significance of instilling positive habits in the younger generation, Professor Ravi Shankar underscored the advantage of children’s innocence and lack of corruption. He highlighted the responsibility of guiding future generations towards adopting positive practices. Emphasizing the centrality of technology in today’s world, he stressed the importance of a strong will and vision.
The Principal of The Manthan School shared insights with the Ten News team, noting that the science exhibition provides a unique platform for students to showcase their artistic talents. CBSE’s commitment to nurturing young minds and providing a yearly opportunity for children to present their ideas was lauded as a positive initiative.
A total of 66 schools participated in the exhibition, showcasing a diverse range of projects. While the event is currently confined to the UP region, the Principal expressed hopes that it would expand to encompass the entire nation. Such a nationwide reach, she believes, could spark new discoveries in the field of science at a national level.
Speaking from a science background, the Principal expressed her heightened appreciation for the program. She acknowledged the distinguished jury members, each occupying influential positions in their respective fields, for their valuable contributions. The jury’s thought-provoking questions, posed by Professor Ravi Shankar, succeeded in inspiring the young minds, adding another layer of success to the exhibition.
