CBSE Schools NCR Delhi East Sahodaya General Body Meeting held at DWPS GR NOIDA

Greater Noida (11/03/22): Delhi World Public School Knowledge Park Greater NOIDA on Friday hosted the 22nd General Body Meeting of Sahodya NCR (East) with the agenda to Discuss on Common Assesment Criteria & Professional Development & on Fee collection, policies to get new admissions, Fee Regulation Act, New Transport Challanges, RTE & RTI

General Body Meeting began with lamp lighting, wonderful musical tunes by DWPS Orchestra Team and the hearty welcome by the Director DWPS Ms Kanchan Kumari and Principal Raina KRISHNATRAY of the member Principals, Special Guests and Media Persons.

The meeting began with the address by Ms Deepti Sharma, President , CBSE School’s Sahodaya Group and Principal, Pragyan School , Jewar , She briefed about the establishment of Sahodya NCR (East) from 28 September, 2016 with the motive of growing together initially there were only 9 members now 70.
She elaborated the objective of Sahodaya NCR (East) and highlighted the proposed activities.

“This Sahodya group of schools aims at creating a framework of leadership & offer resources to strengthen pedagogical strength.” Deepti Sharma said.

Discussing what all the Sahodya group has done she said, “Under the group of Sahodya we have given chance to our students and teachers to come on a single platform so that they can prove themselves through their participation in various activities and competitions.”

Common assessment criteria and professional development were proposed under the umbrella of Sahodaya. The challenges faced by the school in terms of Fee Regulatory Act, School Transport were also touched upon and possible solutions were also discussed. Deepti Sharma said, “Let us join hands together everytime & may our Sahodya flourish to the fullest,”

Sandeep Mittal, Director, Alpine School, Khurja in his address to the member principals shared the vision of Sahodaya. Sandeep Mittal expressed happiness for Sahodya reaching Heights while working on its motives. He said, “If we work together then definately we can emerge out of any problem or can easily find its solution; this is absolutely an amazing effort”

The best practices of various schools were shared and the planner for the new academic session was also put up.

Harish Sharma, Director, Pragyan School, Jewar; Dr Renu Sehgal Principal, GD Goenka Public School, Vandana Seth, Principal, Stanfort Public School, Principals Alf Jaypee Group Schools, Jagran Public School attended the meeting.

At the end of the meeting holi milan was also organised. Principals, Directors and Managers of about 60 schools participated in Holi Milan.
