CCTV Cameras made mandatory at School Gates, UP DGP Issues Guidelines

Taking note of gruesome murder of Pradyuman at Ryan International School, Guragon, UP police has issued madatory guidelines to ensure safety of children in schools.
As per the circular Schools need to install CCTV cameras at all exit, entry gates together with swimming pool entry-exit points, washroom gates, corridors and libraries.
It has also been made mandatory to get police verification done of complete school staff including drivers, conductors, trainers, gardeners, cleaners etc.
DGP of Uttar Pradesh Police Sulkhan Singh has directed police officials of all districts to coordinate with local schools and ensure all safety guidelines are being followed.
Shocking murder of 7 year old child in Gurugram has created grave concern regarding safety of children in schools. The premises who were always considered very safe and secure have come under intense security. Parent and children across the Nation are worried of their safety after the horrific incident.
The order also directs all schools to maintain complete record of all school visitors together with their full names, addresses and entry-exit time.
