Chargesheets against 20 UP babus in Greater Noida land scam

Close on the heels of the suspension of 11 officials of the Uttar Pradesh land consolidation department, another 20 PCS officers, including a dozen gazetted ones, have been charged by state government in a scam where fictitious land was created in records to extract larger compensation.

Land records were allegedly manipulated in villages around the Yamuna expressway area to claim compensation to the tune of Rs 350 crore.
