Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar inaugurates the Rapid Metro Gurgaon -South Extension Line
Addressing the mobility challenge of urban growth centres in India, by adding state – of – the art urban infrastructure to the Millennium City, Shri. Manohar Lal, Chief Minister of Haryana today inaugurated the South Extension of Rapid Metro Gurgaon.
Gurugram has been a front runner in getting such state-of-the-art infrastructure, at such an early stage of its development when compared to other larger metropolitan cities in India. The South Extension of Rapid Metro primarily caters to the resident of New Gurugram. It is now for them to harness it by embracing the mass transit systems & make it the preferred mode of their commute.
Rapid Metro Gurgaon – South Extension is open to commuters from 6:05 am till 12:36 (midnight) aligned to the DMRC time table. 7 fully automated trains with a frequency of 4 minutes during peak hours are running between Sikanderpur & Sector 55-56 station.
