NEW DELHI : Eminent lawyer Prashant Bhushan who also happens to be member secretary of Citizen Whistle Blowers Forum today exposed several hard hitting corruption cases in Delhi.

He presented facts and evidences about how many renowned entities are evading tax and blatantly engaging in Benami transactions to dodge the government. He said that Foreign Direct Investment Policy (FEMA, 1999) is openly being flouted by these renowned entities.

Prashant Bhushan said, “Not only these corporate bodies evading tax but astonishingly they are also being allotted huge government contracts and public sector assignments. It shows a complete unwillingness of present government regime to take actions against them. We demand that this nexus should stop for the greater good of Indian citizens”.

Retired justice A P Shah, chairman of CWBF and Admiral (Retd.) L. Ramdas Vice-Chairman CWBF was also present during the press brief.

The forum has also raised its demand to make strong whistle blower protection law or implement witness protection scheme in India.
